By Rail
Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station is the closest railway station.  Approximately 1 minute walk. By Metrolink the Piccadilly Station is the closest Metrolink station. Less than 1 minute walk.

By Road
Follow route for Carlisle to join the M6. Turn at junction 30 (signposted the M61). Continue on the M61 following signs for M60 and Liverpool M62. Continue down for approximately 3 miles and follow signs for M602 Manchester, towards the end of the M602 stay in the left hand lane. At the end of the M602 continue straight on at the roundabout onto the A57 (Regent Road). Follow around the Mancunian Way and signs to Piccadilly Station. Exit the Mancunian Way at London Rd. (signed Piccadilly Station). Go under over pass and follow up to lights with Monroe's Hotel on left. Turn left at these lights onto Whitworth Street. Go to end and turn right onto Aytoun Street, and get in right lane.

Turn right onto Auburn Street, and arrive at City Inn Manchester.
